St. Peters Police Blotter: Tampered Locks and Stolen Credit Cards Edition

The following are selected reports from the St. Peters Police Department.

The following are selected reports from the  for the week of Aug. 28 to Sept. 3, 2011.

  • Incident No. 21254: Property damage, 100 block of El Dorado Drive. Unknown person(s) tampered with lock on outdoor shed. No entry was gained. Two ladders, not belonging to victim, were left at the scene. Owners of the ladders were contacted to retrieve their items.
  • Incident No. 21308: Property damage, 300 block of Cortez Court. Unknown person(s) damaged playground equipment, causing approximately $1,000 worth of damage.
  • Incident No. 21316: Fraud, 1100 block of Colby Drive. Unknown person stole victim’s debit card from her unlocked vehicle and made several withdraws.  Active investigation.
  • Incident No. 21406: Stealing (felony), 100 block of Golden Harvest. No prosecution desired.
  • Incident No. 21440: Forgery /stealing, first block of Boschert Creek Drive. Victim sold his vehicle on Craigslist to an unknown person who gave him a fake cashier’s check. Victim did not know check was fake until after suspects left with the vehicle. The white 200 Ford Explorer, has been entered as stolen.
  • Incident No. 21447: Property damage /stealing, 1400 block of Mid Rivers Industrial Drive. Active investigation.
  • Incident No. 21539: Property damage, 100 block of Bellmeade Drive. A piece of construction equipment was run over by an unknown vehicle and damaged.
  • Incident No. 21585: Stealing (felony), 4100 block of Cloverleaf Drive. Victim’s wallet stolen from bar by unknown means. Credit cards had unauthorized charges at various locations. Active investigation.
  • Incident No. 21650: Burglary, first block of Janis Ann Drive. Unknown person damaged door handle on house after pulling on it too hard. No suspects at this time.
  • Incident No. 21662: Stealing (felony), 1000 block of Mid Rivers Mall. Victim misplaced her wallet at the Mall. Unknown if it is lost or stolen.
  • Incident No. 21772: Property damage , first block of Kimberly. Unknown person dented and scratched victim’s car overnight. No suspects at this time.
  • Incident No. 21857: Fraud, 1300 block of Mid Rivers Mall. Victim accidentally left credit card at business before closing. He cancelled the card and discovered an unknown person attempted to use the card, unsuccessfully, in St. Louis County. No suspects at this time.
