St. Peters Police Blotter: Woman Arrested for DWI with Child in Car

St. Peters Police said the woman also spit on an officer during the arrest.

The following are selected reports from the St. Peters Police Department.

• Incident No. 00373: Assault on law enforcement/DWI/endangering the welfare of a child, Mid Rivers Mall Drive/ Cottleville Pkwy. A 27-year-old female was arrested after it was reported by a civilian that her vehicle was swerving all over the roadway. When officers found her vehicle, they also witnessed numerous traffic violations and conducted a traffic stop.

After conducting an investigation, the suspect was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and Endangering the Welfare of a Child since her 6-year-old daughter was inside of the vehicle. Once the female suspect was arrested she became verbally and physically combative. She spit on one officer at the scene and at the police station she, smacked another officer in the face. The suspect was released pending application of warrants through St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.

• Incident No. 00450: Bad Checks, 1300 block of Triad Center Drive. The suspect wrote a bad check to a business. This is an active
investigation.
