St. Peters Police Crack Down on Child Safety Restraint Use

Children under age eight, except those 80 pounds and 4'9" tall, must be in a child safety or booster seat.

St. Peters Police Department are aggressively cracking down on people who violate the child passenger safety laws in Missouri. 

State law requires children under 8 to be in a child safety or booster seat unless they are 80 pounds or 4'9" tall. 

Child Safety Passenger Week Law Enforcement Campaign runs Sept. 15-21. The goal is to ticket violators and reduce highway fatalities and injuries to children.
