A burglar is being sought by after a chalice valued at $6,000 went missing from Sts. Joachim and Ann Church in .
Along with the chalice, were mssing from the rectory garage and an unknown amount of money was taken from offering boxes, according to a report in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
The chalice was described by church officials as a solid silve goblet and covered in gold. The chalice was inscribed with: NOE ANDREAS PHILLIPPS WALDMAN/SACERDOS FACTVS DIE XXIVMAII MMVII
St. Peters Police believe the burglary happened between June 13 and June 17.
