St. Peters Trucker Uninjured in US-61 Crash

A St. Peters truck driver collided with another driver Tuesday afternoon.

A truck driver from St. Peters was unharmed after colliding with another car on Highway 61 Tuesday evening. 

Robert Goetz, 46, was heading westbound on US-61 just after 4:30 p.m. on Dec. 11, in his 2007 Freightliner M2 when he made contact with another vehicle. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Sandra K. McGuire, 43, of Foristell, was traveling south on US-61. Goetz was attempting to cross US-61 and the front of McGuire's 2011 Mazda CX7 struck the right side of Goetz's truck. 

Both drivers were wearing safety devices in the crash. McGuire, however, sustained minor injuries and was taked to St. Joseph Hospital West by St. Charles County Ambulance. Her vehicle sustained extensive damage.

Goetz's truck had minor damage, but the he was unharmed.
