St. Peters Woman In Serious Condition After DWI Crash

Emily Webb, 24, lost control of her car and traveled into a ditch early Saturday morning.

A St. Peters woman is in serious condition after a one-vehicle crash early Saturday morning.

Emily Webb, 24, was driving eastbound on Highway 50 and Northwest 250 road in Johnson County at 2:28 a.m. when the crash occurred. According to the crash report, Webb failed to negotiate a curve and travelled off the right side of the roadway. She struck a ditch, several trees,  and overturned several times before finally coming to rest in a field.

Webb was transported by EMS to research Medical Center in Kansas City and is listed in serious condition. She was wearing a safety device in the crash.

Following the crash, Webb was arrested and charged by the Missouri State Highway Patrol. An investigation is still ongoing.
