St. Peters Woman Planned Marijuana Deal Robbery, Police Say

When a man entered her car to buy the pot, the woman's friend put a gun to his head and took his cash, according to court documents.

A woman faces criminal charges after her friends robbed a person during a marijuana deal Monday.

Alayna Evans, 18, of the 1200 block of Poseidon Court in St. Peters, was charged Tuesday with first-degree robbery and conspiracy to distribute marijuana.

A St. Charles County Sheriff’s Department investigator said the victim contacted Evans about buying marijuana, and she set up a purchase in the 500 block of Crown Passage Drive in St. Peters.

Evans drove three other people to the person’s home and the person got in the vehicle to make the transaction. One of Evans’ friends, a person unknown to investigators, put a gun to the man’s head and stole his cash.

According to a court document, Evans admitted to St. Charles County Sheriff’s Department detectives that she planned the marijuana deal. She did not admit to possessing marijuana to complete the deal.

Bail for Evans was set at $50,000, cash only.
