A St. Peters woman was unharmed after being involved in a two-vehicle crash early Wednesday morning.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, St. Peters resident Kelly A. Matteson, 40, was heading westbound on Highway 94 east of O'Fallon road just after 8 a.m. Traffic began to slow down and a second driver, Babette S. Grondine, 56, of O'Fallon, failed to observe the slowing traffic.

The front of Grondine's 2000 Mazda Protege struck the rear of Matteson's 2006 IC Corporation Bus. Grondine's vehicle was totaled in the crash and she was taken to St. Joseph's Health Center with minor injuries. Matteson was uninjured in the crash and her vehicle was able to be driven from the scene.
