Three-Car Crash on Interstate 270 Injures One

St. Peters resident Shelbi Eads was unharmed after being involved in the crash.

A 21-year-old woman was unharmed after being rear-ended in a crash on northbound Interstate 270.

Shelbi Eads, of St. Peters, was stopped in traffic on I-270 just south of Interstate 70 in the afternoon of June 15. Behind Eads' 2010 Nissan Altima, also stopped for traffic, was a 1994 Toyota Corolla driven by St. Louis resident Hope Sexton, 24. Sexton's car was struck from the rear by a 1992 Dodge Dakota, driven by 32-year-old Maryland Heights resident Ryan Derryberry.

The impact of the collision between Derryberry and Sexton forced Sexton's car to hit the rear of Eads.
