Three Indicted on Seven Burglaries, Dozens of Thefts

Three St. Charles County men, including two from Wentzville, face charges on burglaries throughout St. Charles County.

Three St. Charles County men each were indicted by a grand jury on Friday on seven first-degree burglary charges and multiple stealing charges.

The defendants are:

  • Philip J. Larbi, 24, of the 100 block of Valleybrook Drive in Dardenne Prairie;
  • Dionte Ballinger, 21, of the 700 block of Linda Lane in ;
  • Cameron Roberts, 18, of the 400 block of Picket Fence in Wentzville.

Larbi and Ballinger were indicted by the St. Charles County grand jury on seven first-degree burglary charges; Roberts was indicted on five first-degree burglary . Larbi faces 27 stealing charges and Ballinger has 21 stealing charges.

Roberts was indicted on 15 stealing, two receiving stolen property and one second-degree property damage charges in addition to two charges of selling marijuana to an undercover officer.

The theft charges including stealing firearms, stealing credit devices, felony (items valued at more than $500) and misdemeanor stealing charges.

The stolen items included laptop computers and other electronics, cash, credit cards, rifles, a shotgun, firearms and jewelry.

The burglaries in the cases were in the following locations:

  • 100 block of Birkdale Court in St. Charles County;
  • 300 block of Beckley Place in O’Fallon
  • 2900 block of Sweet Flag Court in Dardenne Prairie
  • 2900 block of Sweet Flag Court in Dardenne Prairie (second location)
  • 5700 block of Westchester Meadow Drive in Weldon Spring
  • First block of Deer Meadow Court in Weldon Spring
  • First block of Deer Meadow Court in Weldon Spring (second location)

deputies reported that Larbi knew the location of a stolen laptop computer hidden in the woods behind his home. The computer was protected from the weather in a white, Styrofoam cooler. He gave the location in a recorded conversation provided to deputies by a witness, according to the probable cause statement.
