Wisconsin Man Sentenced for Sexually Assaulting St. Peters Relative

Micheal Herbert of Plover, Wis., was sentenced to 10 years in prison on Monday after he pleaded guilty to statutory sodomy, child molestation and incest.

A Wisconsin man was sentenced to 10 years in prison for assaulting a female relative in her St. Peters Home.

According to a St. Louis Post-Dispatch report, Micheal Herbert of Plover, Wis., was sentenced on Monday after he pleaded guilty to statutory sodomy, child molestation and incest before Circuit Judge Dan Pelikan. The Post-Dispatch reports Herbert will have to serve 85 percent of his sentence before he is eligible for parole,

Herbert also will be GPS-monitored and supervised by Missouri Board of Probation and Parole. He still faces prosecution for more charges in Wisconsin, prosecutors told the Post-Dispatch.

St. Peters Police said Herbert had sexually touched his granddaughter, who is 8 years old, over the past four years.
