Police: St. Peters Woman Sold Cocaine to Undercover Cop While Kids Sat in Car

Woman was involved in four sales to an undercover officer, drug task force reports.

A woman was charged Friday with selling drugs to an undercover officer from the St. Charles County Drug Task Force. One of the alleged sales was in St. Peters.

Latasha Martin, 34, of the 1300 block of Kyle Drive just east of , was charged with four counts of selling illegal drugs.

According to a drug task force report, Martin drove Dion Davis Jr. to sell drugs to an undercover officer.  The report said that Martin was involved in the following transactions:

  • April 21, 2011 – Met undercover officer with Davis at the Subway restaurant at 1352 5th St., where the officer paid $230 for 2.6 grams of cocaine;
  • April 25, 2011 – Met undercover officer with Davis at the Subway restaurant at 1352 5th St., where the officer paid $280 for marijuana and 1.8 grams of cocaine.
  • April 28, 2011 – Met undercover officer with Davis and another man at , 4105 Cloverleaf in St. Peters, where the officer bought 2.2 grams of crack cocaine.

On the last occasion, Martin had three young children in the car with her, according to the report. After that transaction, stopped the car and arrested the three suspects. The children were turned over to Social Services.

All of the transactions were videorecorded, according to the task force report.

When Martin was taken into custody June 14, she had 11 active warrants for her arrest, police said in the report.

Davis was charged March 25 in St. Charles County Circuit Court with four counts of selling drugs.

this broad has to be the dumbest criminal to do this and involve her kids. they need to throw the book at her. maybe this situation will open her eyes and she will realize that it wasnt worth doing crackhead things to loose her kids. whoever told her that her weave game is on point definately lied to her. shelooks like the criminal that she is. grow up tasha!!!
