Aldermen Set to Talk About Animal Regulations

The St. Peters Board of Aldermen are will meet at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 25 at the Justice Center.

It's , but the St. Peters Board of Aldermen will be discussing animals Thursday night. 

During the work session, which begins at 5 p.m. at the , the Board will discuss animal regulations. A drafted ordinance modifies the code to allow residents to foster animals.

Current restrictions allow for up to three pets per home. The proposed ordinances would make an allowance to have an additional two animals as foster pets. The proposed ordinance would require the foster animals to be registered.

The Board will discuss the item at the work session and decide if the ordinance at a later meeting.

  • The Board will hear bids on water meters for the water replacement program.
  • Discussion will continue on regulations on group homes.
