For the third straight Thursday the St. Peters Board of Aldermen will convene at th St. Peters Justice Center.
The board met Jan. 10 for the first meeting of 2013. On Jan. 17, the aldermen got back together to approve the ballot for the April election. This Thursday the board will be back for the second meeting of the month—the first time since October the board will have two full meetings in a month.
Thursday's work session agenda is unusally sparse. Along with the usual notes, the board will have just two items to discuss.
The first item relates to rrecommendations for a stormwater consultant. The city is decided who gets design contracts for the 16 stormwater projects that impact 12 subdivisions. The projects will be completed with money gained from Proposition P.
Also up for discussion is the city's possible involvement in Adopt a Stream and Adopt a Trail programs.
The work session is set to begin at 5 p.m.
Following the work session the regular meeting will commence at 7 p.m.
At the meeting, the board will make re-appointments to the Parks, Recreation and Arts Advisory Board and the Veterans Memorial Commission and appointments to the Community Health and Wellness Advisory Committee.
Also at the meeting, the board will vote on 12 new bills. Among the bills are:
- Bill No. 13-03: Bill authorizing and directing the Mayor of the City of St. Peters, Missouri, to approve a third amendment to a Commercial Planned District for the development known as I-70 Shoppers Fair and Family Center (Petition 10-03 Daniel and Judith Fetsch)
