Board Set to Discuss Stormwater Design Contracts at Thursday Meeting

The St. Peters Board of Aldermen will meet for a work session at 5 p.m. and a meeting at 7 p.m.

For the third straight Thursday the St. Peters Board of Aldermen will convene at th St. Peters Justice Center.

The board met Jan. 10 for the first meeting of 2013. On Jan. 17, the aldermen got back together to approve the ballot for the April election. This Thursday the board will be back for the second meeting of the month—the first time since October the board will have two full meetings in a month.

Thursday's work session agenda is unusally sparse. Along with the usual notes, the board will have just two items to discuss.

The first item relates to rrecommendations for a stormwater consultant. The city is decided who gets design contracts for the 16 stormwater projects that impact 12 subdivisions. The projects will be completed with money gained from Proposition P.

Also up for discussion is the city's possible involvement in Adopt a Stream and Adopt a Trail programs.
