City Hall Closed, Trash Service Altered for the Fourth of July

The St. Peters Rec-Plex will be open from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on July 4th.

The city of St. Peters will close City Hall and government offices for the Fourth of July holiday. 

Additionally the Cultural Arts Centre, Municipal Court and Police Records, Earth Centre composting center and Recycle City, including aluminum can buy-back and trash acceptance, will be closed on Independence Day. 

The Recycle City Drop-Off, however, area will remain open on the fourth.

Also staying open, albeit with limited hours, is the Rec-Plex. The Rec-Plex will be open from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The North ice rink will be open for an extended public ice skating session from 1p.m. to 5 p.m. and Natatorium (pools) also will be open to all customers from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Administrative offices and the registration desk will be closed. 

Trash service will be altered by the holiday, too. Thursday/Friday trash collection is delayed by one day during this week to Friday/Saturday. Yard waste collection will be normal.

St. Peters Animal Control Officers can be reached on Independence Day for emergency calls only by calling St. Peters Police Dispatch at 636-278-2222.
