MoDOT: Motorists Should Have Few Work Zone Delays Next Week

MoDOT reports on the St. Louis work zones for Jan. 3 - 9.

MoDOT is beginning work on the Interstate 64/ Tower Grove Interchange project later this month. This 18-month project, done in partnership with BJC Healthcare and Washington University Medical Center, is intended to improve traffic flow around Kingshighway and the east side of the medical campus.

Crews spent time responding to wintry weather last week and are now preparing for 2013 work zones, such as construction of the I-64 Daniel Boone Bridge and the Tower Grove interchange project, on I-64 downtown.

Thursday, MoDOT is hosting a 10 a.m. groundbreaking ceremony for construction of the new $110 million I-64 Daniel Boone Bridge over the Missouri River. The bridge will be complete in 2014.
