Planning and Zoning Commission Set for October Meeting

The St. Peters Planning and Zoning Commission is scheduled to meet at 6:30 p.m. tonight, Wednesday, Oct. 5.

Public hearings take up most of the agenda for Wednesday night's St. Peters Planning and Zoning Commission meeting.

Five public hearings are on the agenda for the the October meeting. Three of the hearings are old business while the other two are new business. 

For the third month straight, T-Mobile is on the agenda for a public hearing. This time, however, T-Mobile occupies both old and new business spots. The communications company originally requesting a permit to build a tower in a residential area. The original location did not sit well with community members or the commission. Instead an alternate location was proposed.

T-Mobile was supposed to come back in September to determine a location—the residential location or the Commission-approved alternate —. The agenda for the October meeting has both locations slated for public hearings. 

The other two old business public hearings relate to Truck Centers, Inc. The company couldn't make the September meeting, but is scheduled to appear tonight.

Other items on the agenda include:

  • The Commission will hear request for five home occupation permits. 
  • CVS Pharmacy will present a site plan.
  • The Villas at Arden Forest will request a PUD agreement.
