Primary Day Quick Facts: Find Out Where and When to Vote

Aug. 7, 2012 is Primary Election Day in St. Peters and Missouri. Here's some things you need to know before you hit the polls.

Today is election day in . Polling places around the city will open bright and early at 6 a.m. for a day full of voting in the Primary Election. 

Here are some things you should probably know before you hit the polls.

  • The polls are open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Before work, after work, during work—it doesn't matter. The polls are open most of the day so you'll have plenty of time to vote. 
  • Polling places are everywhere. Last week a voter registration card should have arrived in the mail telling you where to vote. But really, who holds on to those things? If you're not sure where to vote, check out the polling place locator
  • There is a lot to vote for. The biggest thing on the ballot for St. Peters voters is arguably , but there are other things on the ballot. Voters will be deciding on United State Senate primaries, townships and more.
