Sen. Rupp, committee to hold four meetings.

JEFFERSON CITY — State Sen. Scott T. Rupp, R-, announced the statewide hearing schedule for a series of public hearings regarding the congressional redistricting process.

Sen. Rupp serves as chair of the Senate Select Committee on Redistricting, which is responsible for determining congressional redistricting to reflect the changes in shifting populations in Missouri.

“These public hearings provide committee members the opportunity to hear first-hand from citizens about how they feel regarding the redistricting process currently underway by members of the Legislature,” said Rupp. “As chairman of this important committee, it’s my job to make sure that any changes made to district boundaries fairly represent all Missourians in our state.”
