St. Peters Aldermen Ready for July Meeting

The board will meet for the first time since late July.

The Board of Aldermen will return to the for the first time in nearly a month for its July meeting. 

Despite being away from the Justice Center, the board isn't facing a lengthy agenda at either the 5 p.m. work session or the 7 p.m. meeting. During the work session the board will discuss a draft ordinance relating to outdoor music festivals. The draft ordinance is a rewriting of an existing ordinance to clean up some wording, but also adds some changes. The changes mostly relate to insurance policies and coverages at outdoor music events. 

Following that discussion, the board is slated to discuss the purchase of a solid waste truch, a consulting architech for the city and a more.

After the work session the board will conduct the regular meeting. Only five items of new business are up for vote—one resolution and four bills. One of the bills is approving a record plat at the new CVS on Mexico Road that was . 

The work session begins at 5 p.m. and the meeting starts at 7 p.m. at the . Board of Aldermen meetings and work sessions are broadcast on Charter Cable channel 992 and U-Verse channel 99. Replays of the meetings are played periodically throughout the month. Board of Aldermen meetings are also available online to view live or on demand.
