St. Peters Aldermen Scheduled to Meet Tonight

Board of Aldermen to attend regular work session and meeting at 5 p.m. at the Justice Center in St. Peters.

St. Peters Ward 3 Alderman Tommy Roberts will begin his term as President of the Board of Aldermen tonight at the first meeting of May.

The Board of Aldermen are scheduled to meet at 5 p.m. for a work session and at 7 p.m. for the regular meeting. Both meetings will take place at the . Meetings and work sessions are broadcast on Charter Cable channel 992 and U-Verse channel 99. 

Roberts, who was voted at the last meeting, will lead the work session for the first time.

The agenda for the work session can be found here. Some highlights:

  • A $250,000 project for the replacement of pool filters for the 50-meter pool to be paid by the Natatorium Foundation will be discussed. The foundation is the self-sustaining fund established for the maintenance of the Natatorium.  
  • The Board will also discuss a purchase request for concrete and Secretary of State/Records Retention Schedules.

  • There will be an offical changing of the guard for the role of City Clerk. Rhonda Clark, who is retiring, will be recognized at the meeting. After that, Patricia Smith take the oath of office as the new City Clerk.
  • The Board will make appointment to the St. Peters Youth Leadership Council, the Board of Adjustment and the Personnel Review Board.
