Ward 2 Alderman Jerry Hollingsworth joins St. Peters Mayor Len Pagano as early candidates for 2012 election.

Mayor Len Pagano and Ward 2 Alderman Jerry Hollingsworth announced late Monday that they will be running for re-election next year.

The deadline for candidates to file for the April 2012 General Election isn't until January 17, 2012, but Pagano and Hollingsworth got an early start by announcing their intentions on Monday.

"Jerry and I have 49 years of combined leadership and accomplishments," Pagano said in a press release. "We've worked together on various projects and improvements to better the quality of life for all residents in the City of St Peters. We look forward to the opportunity to continue to make St. Peters a great place to live, work and raise a family."
