Veterans Day is Sunday but the city of St. Peters will be recognizing the holiday on Saturday and Monday.

The city of St. Peters’ Veterans Memorial Commission will host a Veterans Day ceremony at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10. The ceremony will take place at the Veterans Memorial in front of St. Peters City Hall.

The main speaker at the event will be Marine Veteran Tom Martin. Martin was a member of the famous Carlson’s Raiders of World War II. As part of the ceremony, St. Peters Follies, a group of young performers from the Cultural Arts Centre’ Performing Arts Studio, will also perform a musical tribute.

In case of bad weather, the ceremony will be moved inside City Hall.
