Athlete of the Week: St. Charles's Ellen Weaver Brings Home the Prize

St. Charles Pirate Ellen Weaver's big week earns her the fan's choice for Athlete of the Week.

It appears the voters in St. Charles County are impressed by offense.

Last week St. Charles High School's Ellen Weaver put on an offensive clinic for the Pirates. In two games she potted five goals and tallied two assists on the soccer pitch. It's a pretty big understatement to say that's pretty good.

Weaver's impressive week caught the eye, and the votes, around St. Charles County. The Pirate picked up 72 percent of the vote to take home the St. Charles County soccer player of the week award. Here's how the voting went down.
