Nine File For Three Francis Howell School Board Seats

School Board is set to have second meeting of January tonight, Jan. 20, at 7 p.m.

The filing deadline for the Francis Howell School Board has come and gone and nine people will be fighting for three spots.

Current board members Mike Hoehn, Mike Sommer and Mark Lafata are the three incumbents on the board and all decided to run again in the April 5, 2011 election. The three are facing six challengers for the three-year term.

Sommer is the current president of the school board. Hoehn serves as treasurer. Sommer and Hoehn were the first two people to file for the Board openings.
