Westboro Baptist Church Makes Plans to Protest at Fort Zumwalt East

After no-showing in February, the controversial church is planning to picket outside the St. Peters high school after protesting a military funeral in Villa Ridge, MO.

The Westboro Baptist Church is once again planning a trip to St. Peters. The question is, will they show up this time?

The Church's website lists a planned picket from 2 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at  today, Wednesday, April 18. Fort Zumwalt East said that is was aware of the event. East ends classes for the day at 2:25 p.m. 

Westboro is in the region to protest the military funeral of Army Spc. Jeffrey L. White in Villa Ridge, MO.

Westboro announced on its website that the church members would be coming to picket  on Feb. 6, but . Instead to picket. 

St. Peters Police, which provided full security at the February non-event, could not be reached for comment.
