Athlete of the Week: Holt's Mitchell Repeats as Winner

For the second straight week, Hotl's Tray Mitchell wins the fan's choice for top football player.

Mitchell, a star for the Holt Indians, won the Patch Athlete of the Week award for his exploits in Week 7. What did he do for an encore? He won again, becoming a back-to-back champ after once again dominating on the football field.

Which St. Charles County football player had the best Week 8?

  • Shane Barrett—Fort Zumwalt East: 1 vote (8 percent)
  • Clay Stulce—Duchesne: 0 votes (0 percent)
  • Zack Reinken and Teddy Williamson—Fort Zumwalt West: 1 vote (8 percent)
  • Tray Mitchell—Holt: 10 votes (83 percent)

Mitchell was at it again on Friday night. The Holt running back paced the Indians against Zumwalt South. In the Indians 16-13 win, Mitchell picked up both touchdowns, one from 9-yards out and one from 58-yards away. For the game, he had 180 yards on 18 carries.
