St. Louis Blues Rink Tours Coming to the Rec-Plex

St. Louis Blues players T.J. Oshie and Roman Polak are scheduled to appear at the St. Peters Rec-Plex on Sunday, Jan. 15.

The annual St. Louis Blues rink tour will return to St. Peters on Sunday. 

A day after the Blues take on the Minnesota Wild at home, members of the Blues will head out to 11 hockey rinks in the metro St. Louis region. Two players—forward T.J. Oshie and defenseman Roman Polak will be making be making the trip to the . The players will host an autograph signing session from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 15 at the Rec-Plex. The event took place at the Rec-Plex South complex. 

Polak will be making a return trip to the Rec-Plex. Last season the Czech-born defender joined Brad Winchester (now with the San Jose Sharks) for a. The big blueliner leads the team with 78 blocked shots.

Oshie is one of the most popular players on the team. His No. 74 jersey was the top-selling sweater during his rookie season in 2008-09. Oshie is second on the team in points this season with 28. He has 13 goals and 15 assists through 41 games.

Last year's event was pushed back until February after snow disrupted travel plans. The forecast for Sunday appears to be a good sign for hockey fans.
