Four Ways to Volunteer for Habitat for Humanity in St. Charles County

Habitat for Humanity will host an information session about volunteering Aug. 22.

Habitat for Humanity of St. Charles County has more than 2,500 volunteers annually who help the organization in a range of ways. 
Here are four ways to help this group which builds affordable housing for families. 

  • General Construction Volunteer: These volunteers must be at least 16 years old. Participate in a build day, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Construction Site Greeter: These volunteers arrive between 7:30 and 7:45 to set up tables and make sure everyone signs in. They also help assist the lunch provider.
  • Construction Lunch Providers: These volunteers arrive by 11:15 and help make and prepare lunches for about 30 workers.
  • ReStore Customer Service Assistant: Volunteers assist with purchase and cleaning incoming donations. Customers must be at least 15 years old. For
