Give Back: Serve Meals to Seniors, Scrapbook with Foster Children

Check out five ways to give back to the community.

Serve Meals to Seniors: Help serve meals to seniors at the JCC/MEAA Covenant House Senior Center. The program is open Monday through Friday and volunteers are needed 4 to 5:30 p.m.

Holiday Mail for Heroes: This program encourages the public to sign or make a card for military service members and their families each holiday season. The American Red Cross distributes approximately 1 million cards from individuals each year.

Family Fun Fridays with St. Louis Arc: Volunteers are needed to help with these monthly opportunities for families of people with disabilities. Volunteers can assist with activities ranging from bingo and games to arts and crafts to serving food at the concession stand.

Yard Work: Help with yard work for Community Living clients in St. Charles.

Scrapbook with Foster Children: At an event in Hazelwood, a professional photographer will take photos of children in the morning. in the afternoon, volunteers are needed to help older children decorate their pages and fill their scrapbooks from noon to 2:30 p.m. Oct. 26.
