Premier Parkway to Close for Celebrate St. Peters

Celebrate St. Peters runs 5-11 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday.

Premier Parkway will be closed between Executive Centre Parkway to Truman Boulevard for Celebrate St. Peters from 10 a.m. Sept. 21 to 6 a.m. Sept. 22.  

The annual festival features music, food, carnival rides and games, craft booths, fireworks and children's activities. It will be held at 370 Lakeside Park. Festivities will run from 5-11 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21 and 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday.

Premier Parkway will be used as overflow parking south of Highway 370 for the event. Heavy traffic at Highway 370 and Lakeside Park Drive is expected on Saturday evening and organizers suggest that people arrive early to find a place to park. Free shuttle service is provided from parking areas.

About 4,000 spaces will be available. Some 15,000 people are expected over the course of the weekend.

Free shuttle service will be available to and from parking areas inside and outside 370 Lakeside Park. Residents can buy a reserved parking pass at City Hall or at the Rec-Plex during business hours for $20 and $25 for non-residents. Passes are good for both days of the event.
