The Weekend: Bark at the Park, Craft Beer Festival

Check out what's happening in and around town Sept. 13-15.

Bark at the Park
Head to Lakeside 370 Park on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a range of activities for dogs and humans. The event supports the Rotary Dog Park at Lakeside 370. Registration for the dog parade is $20 and includes a tshirt. A dog show at 11 a.m. includes eight categories. Other events include an agility demonstration and vendor fair. 

Concert at The Merge
Sinful by Nature will perform with The Social Gospel and Haley Womble at 8 p.m. Sept. 13 at The Merge in St. Peters, 4141 Cloverleaf Drive. Tickets are $8 at the door. 

Race for the Rotary
St. Peters Rotary will hold a 5k race Saturday, Sept. 14 at Lakeside 370 park. Registration is at 7 a.m., the race is at 8 a.m. Cost is $20 for adults and $15 for kids 12 and under and includes a tshirt. For more information, email Darla at daralac@royalty-infotech.com 

Hooray for Play Gala
The Hooray for Play gala will benefit Unlimited Play, inc, which builds universally accessible playgrounds to promote health and wellness for children. Learn more or purchase tickets by visiting www.unlimitedplay.org. The event is 6 p.m. Sept. 14 at Ameristar Casino.

2013 Craft Beer Festival
The Family Arena will host a craft brew festival Saturday, Sept. 14. The second annual craft brew fest will feature a range of breweries from across the region, including Kirkwood Station and Cathedral square. There are two sessions, one from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and one from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Each is $25. A separate ticket is required for each event. 

St. Charles Mosaics Festival for the Arts
The 19th annual MOSAICS Missouri Festival for the Arts runs Sept. 13-15 in historic St. Charles. The event includes music, art, entertainment and children's art opportunities. Head down from 4-9 p.m. Sept. 14, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sept. 14 and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 15. More than 100 juried artists will have work for sale.
