A man is accused of breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s home three times. On one occasion he stole her birth control medication and hacked into her Facebook account, St. Peters Police said. Carlton Dickerson, 25, of the 4100 block of Chisholm Trail in St. Charles County west of St. Peters, was charged Sunday with one count of first-degree burglary and two counts of second-degree burglary. St. Peters Police said Dickerson broke into his ex-girlfriend’s home at about 11:30 p.m. Saturday in the first block of Alderwood Lane in St. Peters by pushing an entire basement window into the residence. Michael Kitchen is accused of spending investors' money on business and personal expenses over several years.
A St. Peters man was indicted on federal fraud charges last week in connection with an investment fraud scheme. The indictment says Michael Kitchen, 47, of St. Peters, was involved in a fraud scheme during 2008 and 2009. According to the indictment, Kitchen marketed a "verification of funds" financial opportunity to a number of investors and made approximately $500,000. Kitchen is accused of telling investors their money was safe and would earn more than 1000 percent annual return if the money was placed in a verification of funds transaction. The indictment alleges that Kitchen didn't protect or place the investors' funds. Instead, Kitchen is accused of spending the money on business and personal expenses over several years. Kitchen was …

A man admitted disabling his stepfather’s video surveillance system during a March 20 burglary and stealing jewelry from his home in St. Peters. Michael Anthony Glatz pleaded guilty to second-degree burglary and felony theft and was placed on five years probation by St. Charles County Circuit Court Judge Jon A. Cunningham. Glatz ran through a wooden fence, dropping some stolen jewelry, when his stepfather arrived at his home in the 1400 block of Ticonderoga Drive, according to St. Peters Police. Glatz told police he was high on Xanax when he ran through the fence, according to a court document. The stepfather had been monitoring the surveillance system and saw that it had been disabled. St. Peters Police began cracking down on seat belt violations this week as part of a statewide law enforcement effort. Starting on Monday and running until June 2, St. Peters Police will be enforcing the "Click It or Ticket" campaign throughout the city. According to a release from the Police Department, seven out of 10 people killed in Missouri traffic crashes aren't wearing seat belts. The release said Missouri has 79 percent seat belt use—well below the 85-percent national average. According to police, teens and pick-up truck drivers are among those least likely to buckle up. A St. Charles County deputy said he found Anthony James Cissi carrying a stolen computer down a Harvester street May 8. He was placed on two years probation on May 6 for stealing.
A 20-year-old man is accused of stealing a laptop computer from a car on May 8 in Harvester. Two days previously, he had been placed on probation for another theft case. Anthony James Cissi, 20, of the 3900 block of Cambridge Crossing in the Harvester area, was charged May 9 with misdemeanor stealing. A St. Charles County Sheriff’s deputy said he found Cissi walking and carrying a computer bag May 8 on Pecan Hill Drive near Cambridge Crossing. The spot was near 11 Mouser Drive, where the laptop had been stolen. Cissi pleaded guilty May 6 to another misdemeanor theft and was placed on two years probation. On Jan. 24, he stole a backpack from a car on Cambridge Crossing in the same block in which he lives. In that case, he admitted stealing …

The crash took place just before 4 p.m. on Interstate 70 in St. Peters.
Three people were injured in a three-car crash Thursday afternoon in St. Peters. According to the crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, two cars were stopped for traffic ahead on westbound Interstate 70 just east of Mid Rivers Mall Drive just before 4 p.m.. A third vehicle, a 2011 Ford F-250 driven by Gary Sexton, 51, of St. Peters, failed to stop and struck the rear of another vehicle, a 2007 Chevrolet F-150 driven by James R. Todd, 27, of O'Fallon. The impact of the crash caused Todd's truck to collide with the first car, a 2001 Mercury Sable driven by Timothy S. Jackson, 22, of St. Charles. Sexton and Todd were uninjured in the crash and both were able to drive their vehicles from the scene. Jackson and two passengers …
