'A Piece of My Heart' Coming to SCC

Center Stage Theatre of St. Charles Community College to present play from March 2 to March 6.

The auditions have been completed, the show has been cast and now it's time for the The Center Stage Theatre of St. Charles Community College to perform. The Center Stage Theatre will present "A Piece of My Heart," from March 2 to March 6, in the Donald D. Shook Fine Arts Building theater on the SCC campus. The show will be performed at 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, through Saturday, March 5. An afternoon show will start at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 6. There will be a matinee performance for high schools students at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 3. Based on true stories, the play follows six American women who served in the Vietnam War—four nurses, a Red Cross volunteer and a USO performer. “A Piece of My Heart” Auditions Scheduled at SCC

St. Charles Community College will host two open auditions for play set to run in March.

Aspiring actors are being encouraged to head to St. Charles Community College. The St. Charles Community College's Center Stage Theatre is hosting open auditions for the production of "A Piece of My Heart.” Director Hal Berry will oversew open auditions at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15 and 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18. The auditions will take place in Room 108 of the Donald D. Shook Fine Arts Building on the SCC campus in Cottleville. Callbacks will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 19, in the same location. The Central State Theater is looking to fill a variety of parts. The production needs six females, one male, singers and extras.
