Candidates Begin Filing For SCC Board of Trustees

Filing began Dec. 13 and continues until Jan. 17. Three candidates have filed for three positions open on the St. Charles Community College Board of Trustees.

Three candidates filed to run for open seats on the St. Charles Community College (SCC) Board of Trustees on the first day of election filing Tuesday. Candidate filing began Dec. 13 and continues until Jan. 17.  SCC has two six-year terms and one two-year term up for election on the April 2012 ballot. Both William R. Pundmann and Jean Ehlmann's terms end in April.  William Lohmar, who was appointed to the SCC Board of Trustees in January 2011, replaced his son, Timothy Lohmar, who was elected as a judge in Missouri’s 11th Judicial Circuit. Lohmar’s appointment ends in April 2012, and a candidate is needed to fulfill the remaining two years of Timothy Lohmar’s term. School Board Candidates Begin Filing for April 2012 Election

Filing opened on Tuesday for school board candidates in five St. Charles County school districts.

Candidates began to trickle in for school board seats up for election on April 3, 2012  in St. Charles County’s five public school districts. Candidate filing opened Dec. 13 and will close on Jan. 17. Voters will elect school board members to serve three-year terms – with the exception of perhaps one school district. Most of the filing activity on the first day of filing occurred in the Wentzville School District. Five candidates, including two incumbents, had filed Tuesday for two open seats. The candidates filing Tuesday were incumbents Sheryl Cox and David Hurst along with candidates Michael Spiroff, Aaron Schaper and Saundra Garber. Local School Board Filings Start Tuesday

Francis Howell and Fort Zumwalt each have two spots open for the upcoming April General Election.

At 8 a.m. this morning school board candidates for Fort Zumwalt and Francis Howell can throw their hats into the ring. Just like with the city of St. Peters, filing for the two local school districts begin today. Starting at 8 a.m. and running until 5 p.m. today candidates can apply for the two open spots in each school district. The filing season runs until 5 p.m. on Jan. 17, 2012. The candidates will be filing for the April 3, 2012 General Election. Francis Howell has two three-year terms due up for the election process. Current vice president Steve Johnson and Marty Hodits have reached the end of their terms.   Potential candidates must do so in person at the Administration Building, 4545 Central School Road in St. Charles. Updated: General Election Filings Begin Tuesday

St. Peters Mayor Len Pagano and four aldermanic seats will be up for grabs in the upcoming April 2012 General Election.

Filing season for the 2012 General Election kicks off Tuesday morning. Starting at 8 a.m. applicants can file for office for the April 3, 2012, election. St. Peters will have five races open for potential candidates. Mayor Len Pagano and the four men to his left during St. Peters Board of Aldermen meetings at the Justice Center are up for re-election. All five races are for four-year terms. Pagano will most certainly be filing tomorrow morning. Back in July, Pagano announced his intentions to run for another term as St. Peters mayor. Pagano was a Ward 3 alderman from 1983-2007. He took over as mayor in 2007 and was elected to his first four-year term in 2008.  When Pagano announced his intentions to run again, he did so in tandem with …

SCC Board of Trustees Approves Filing Dates for April Election

Filing begins Dec. 13, 2011, and ends Jan. 17, 2012.

The St. Charles Community College (SCC) Board of Trustees approved the filing dates for the April 3, 2012 election at its Monday night meeting.  Two six-year terms and one two-year term on the SCC Board of Trustees are on the ballot. The terms up for election are currently held by: Six-Year Terms Two-Year Term SCC Board of Trustees Candidate Requirements: Interested candidates must file between Dec. 13 and Jan. 17 at the Office of the President, Room 2104, Daniel J. Conoyer Social Sciences Building at St. Charles Community College, 4601 Mid Rivers Mall Dr. in Cottleville. The office is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Filings will not be accepted on Thursday, Dec. 22, through Tuesday, Jan. 3 or Monday, Jan. 16.
