Two Arrested for Burglary of a St. Peters Apartment
Robert McCray and Ashley Lappe, 24, were charged after a purse, a gun and three pairs of shoes were taken from an apartment.
Two people were arrested and charged following a break-in at a St. Peters apartment. Robert McCray, 28, of the 10 thousand block of Cant Way Drive in Overland, was charged with one count second degree burglary and one count of theft of a firearm following an incident in the 500 block of Biltmore Way on Jan. 17. Also charged in the incident was Ashley Lappe, 24, of the 10th block of Cambourne Court in St. Peters. Lappe was charged with second degree burglary, theft stealing of a firearm and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. St. Peters Police said McCray used a rock to break a window on a door of the apartment into the apartment and took a .9mm handgun, a purse and three pairs of tennis shoes from the residence.
