A St. Peters man was indicted by a St. Charles grand jury Feb. 15 after being accuse of knocking out his roommate’s teeth, tying him up with an electrical cord and stealing his car. Kenneth Canamore, 29, of the 400 block of Church Street in St. Peters, was indicted Feb. 15 on charges of felonious restraint, third-degree assault and tampering with a motor vehicle. St. Peters Police said Canamore punched his roommate-knocking out his teeth-Nov. 3 in the 400 block of Church Street. He then tied the man up and took his 2003 Nissan Altima, police said. St. Peters Police said Raymond Oliver, of Hawk Ridge, punched a man in the face inside Mid Rivers Mall. The man told police he also suffered a concussion and some memory loss.
A Hawk Point man seriously injured another man by punching him in the face March 1 near the ticket booth at Wehrenberg Theatres inside Mid Rivers Mall. Raymond Oliver, 34, of the 300 block of Hawkeye Drive in Hawk Point, was charged March 5 with third-degree assault. St. Peters Police said Oliver punched a man, cutting his lip and putting a hole about one inch from his mouth that required 20 stitches. The man also told police he suffers from memory loss due to a concussion he suffered when he hit his head on the floor after being punched. Bail has been set at $10,000 for Oliver. A man is accused of choking another man into unconsciousness Feb. 19 in the Harvester area, choked another man and then stole his ex-girlfriend’s car. Brooks Hoy, 21, whose address was listed in Columbia, was charged Feb. 19 with tampering with a car, two counts of third-degree assault, third-degree domestic assault and resisting arrest. A St. Charles County Sheriff’s deputy said Hoy was arguing with another man and choked him long enough that he went unconscious Feb. 19 in the 600 block of Emerald Meadows Court. A man told St. Peters Police he placed an ad on Craigslist for a casual date that entailed dinner and a movie. Christina Marie Gable, 30, of Winfield, responded to the ad and later pleaded guilty later to third-degree assault amongst other charges.
A Craigslist date ended when the woman asked for $1,000 for sex and then assaulted the man when he refused. The woman then spit several times through a cage on a police officer in a squad car during a ride to the St. Peters Justice Center. St. Peters Police are looking for a person who they say stole more than $1,500 worth of electronics from Walmart and then assaulted an employee after being confronted. According to police, the suspect entered the Walmart store at about 3:30 a.m. on the morning of Friday, Jan. 11. The suspect headed to the electronics section of the store and selected some stereo equipment. Police said the suspect then left the store with the merchandise in the shopping cart. The suspect made no attempt to pay for any of the items in the cart. Police said a Walmart manager saw the suspect in the parking lot and asked to see a receipt. A woman being treated at CentrePointe Hospital attacked a staff member Dec. 22, jumping on her and breaking her collarbone. A St. Charles County Sheriff’s deputy said the woman jumped on the staff member, pulling her hair and yelled, “I’m going to kill you, (expletive).” Patsha Ramsey, 18, of the 1600 block of Olive Street in the city of St. Louis, was charged Wednesday with second-degree assault. The deputy said Ramsey wrapped her legs around the staff member’s upper body and it took several other hospital employees several minutes to get her off the staff member. A St. Peters man assaulted another man in Wildwood by punching him numerous times, breaking an orbital bone in his eye socket and giving him a concussion, police said. Kevin Griffin, 19, of the 3900 block of Golden Hills Drive in St. Peters, was charged Monday in St. Louis County Circuit Court with first-degree assault. St. Louis County Police said Griffin assaulted the man in the 16800 block of Paradise Peak Circle in Wildwood on Aug. 8. Bail was set at $75,000 for Griffin. A former St. Charles County foster parent was indicted by a St. Charles County grand jury Friday on two counts of child abuse. Terri Cronin, 48, was indicted on two counts of child abuse. She alternatively has been indicted on two counts of second-degree assault. Cronin's address now is listed as being in Oklahoma. St. Charles County Sheriff’s Department detectives said Cronin fractured a six-week-old baby’s arm while caring for the child as a foster parent in the 3600 block of Meadowsglen Court in the Harvester area. A man faces a criminal charge after he approached another man in a sports bar and slugged him for no apparent reason, according to a St. Peters Police report. St. Peters Police said that Richard L. James Jr, 24, of the 1000 block of Pasture Ridge in St. Peters, approached a man who was watching television in Rhinos Sports Bar and Grill on Jungermann Road on Aug. 4. James struck the man in the face and left before police arrived. A bartender saw the assault. Police said the man did not know James, had not spoken to him and had never met him before. Two men attacked a man, beating him with metal bars Tuesday in the Harvester area, said a St. Charles County Sheriff’s deputy. Luke Feil, 19, whose last known address was in the 1700 block of Florine Road in St. Charles, and Anthony Ingracia Jr, 18, of the 1300 block of Drummond Court in Harvester, were charged Wednesday with second-degree assault. Deputies said Feil and Ingracia entered a home in the 3400 block of Huntington Lane in Harvester intending to assault the man.
