Woman Attacked CentrePointe Staff Member, Broke Her Collarbone, Deputy Says
A Sheriff's Deputy reported the woman yelled she would return and shoot staff members at the treatment facility.
A woman being treated at CentrePointe Hospital attacked a staff member Dec. 22, jumping on her and breaking her collarbone. A St. Charles County Sheriff’s deputy said the woman jumped on the staff member, pulling her hair and yelled, “I’m going to kill you, (expletive).” Patsha Ramsey, 18, of the 1600 block of Olive Street in the city of St. Louis, was charged Wednesday with second-degree assault. The deputy said Ramsey wrapped her legs around the staff member’s upper body and it took several other hospital employees several minutes to get her off the staff member. And you would have these people go where for help? CenterPoint is there to help people, people with real problems. They do the very best job that they can. I know, I have been there, am still being treated there as an out-patient. They do a wonderful, yet, thankless job. The world could use more people like the ones that work there.
