Man Had Sexual Contact with 5-Year-Old, Police Say

A St. Charles County man faces criminal charges after police said he had sexual contact with a 5-year-old girl, according to court documents. Thomas Louis Watkins, 30, of the 4100 block of Chisholm Trail in St. Charles County just east of St. Peters, was charged Tuesday with three counts of first-degree statutory sodomy. St. Charles Police said Watkins was babysitting children for a family between February 2008 and November 2008 and had sexual contact with the girl on three occasions. Watkins admitted to police that he watched a pornographic video during the sexual contact.
