A St. Peters woman was uninjured after being involved in a two-vehicle crash early Wednesday morning.
A St. Peters woman was unharmed after being involved in a two-vehicle crash early Wednesday morning. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, St. Peters resident Kelly A. Matteson, 40, was heading westbound on Highway 94 east of O'Fallon road just after 8 a.m. Traffic began to slow down and a second driver, Babette S. Grondine, 56, of O'Fallon, failed to observe the slowing traffic. The front of Grondine's 2000 Mazda Protege struck the rear of Matteson's 2006 IC Corporation Bus. Grondine's vehicle was totaled in the crash and she was taken to St. Joseph's Health Center with minor injuries. Matteson was uninjured in the crash and her vehicle was able to be driven from the scene. Both drivers were wearing safety devices.

St. Louis resident Emily Ferguson, 19, was killed after colliding with St. Peters resident Charles Mills.
A St. Peters truck driver was seriously injured in a fatal crash early Friday morning. Charles Mills, 39, was taken to University Hospital in Columbia, Mo., with serious injuries after being in a two-car collision that killed the second driver. Emily Ferguson, 19, of St. Louis, died as a result of the crash. According the Missouri State Highway Patrol, at 3 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 7, Ferguson was heading westbound in the eastbound lane of Interstate 70 just west of the 151.4 mile marker in Callaway County. Ferguson's 2004 Nissan Xterra collided head-on with Mills' 2009 Hino straight truck. Ferguson was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:17 a.m. Ferguson was not wearing a safety device in the crash. Mark Walker was a passenger in a car involved in a two-car crash on Wednesday morning.
Two men were injured in a car crash Wednesday morning in St. Louis County. Steven Kelley, 52, of St. Charles, and his passenger, Mark Walker, 37, of St. Peters, were injured in crash on southbound Interstate 55 south of Butler Hill just after 8 a.m. on Dec. 5. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Kelley was driving his 2005 Chevrolet Box Truck south in the far right lane. A second vehicle, driven by Justin Moll, 23, of Arnold, attempted to make a lane change to the far right lane. The front of his vehicle struck the left side of Kelley's vehicle, causing Kelley's vehicle to exit the roadway. Kelly's truck struck and embankment and overturned. An 18-year-old St. Peters resident was unharmed after being rear-ended on Friday evening. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Tyler Hurst was stopped for traffic on eastbound Highway 94, just west of Zumbehl. Just before 5:45 p.m. a second car, driven by 53-year-old Edward Linson, of St. Charles, failed to notice Hurst's 2005 Dodge Stratus was stopped. Linson's 2003 Mitsubishi Galant proceeded to strike the rear of Hurst's car. Linson was taken to St. Joseph Hospital in St. Charles with minor injuries. Hurst did not need medical attention. Both drivers were wearing safety devices in the crash. Hurst's car sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene. Linson's car had extensive damage and was towed.

Chad Harper sustained minor injuries during a collision on Highway 94 Thursday afternoon.
A St. Peters man was take to Hermann Area District Hospital on Thursday with minor injuries after a crash involving two semi-trucks. Chad Harper, 37, was traveling on Highway 94 just east of Route B in Warren County. According, Harper and another truck (driven by 53-year-old Warrenton native David Adkins, were both traveling close to the center line. The mirror of Adkin's truck struck the mirror of Harper's truck. Adkins was unharmed in the incident. Both vehicles had minor damage in the collision.

Jeffrey Switzer sustained moderate injuries in the Wednesday afternoon crash.
A 31-year-old St. Peters man sustained moderate injuries after being in a two-car crash on Wednesday. Jeffrey L. Switzer was taken by ambulance to St. Joseph's Hospital by St. Charles County Ambulance after being involved in a crash on Highway 370 near Elm Street in St. Charles County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, 34-year-old O'Fallon resident Ramadan W. Ramadan was driving westbound on Highway 370 around 3:40 p.m. on Aug. 1. Ramadan attempted to change lanes in his 2012 Infinity QX56. In the process, Ramadan's vehicle struck Switzer's 2006 Yamaha Virago. The collision caused Switzer to lose control of motorcycle and crash. Ramadan was uninjured in the crash and his vehicle was undamaged. Switzer's motorcycle …

Three St. Louis-area teenagers were involved in a golf cart crash Saturday night.
Three teens, including one from St. Peters, were injured in a golf cart crash Saturday night. The crash occurred just after 6 p.m. four miles of Ironton on Killarney Drive. The golf cart, driven by 16-year-old Matthew Bruns of Kirkwood, crossed a T-intersection and overturned in a ditch. Riding with Bruns in the cart were 15-year-old St. Peters resident Lauren Gamache and 15-year-old St Charles resident Andrew Huber. Bruns and Huber were taken by ambulance to Iron County Hospital with minor injuries. Gamache was taken by ambulance to Parkland Hospital with moderate injuries. The golf cart sustained minor damage.

A St. Peters woman sustained extensive damage to her vehicle and was taken to the hospital with minor injuries following a crash on Saturday afternoon. Susan Connett-Jerrison, 56, was involved in a two-car collision on June 2 at the Cave Springs ramp heading onto I-70 Eastbound. The Missouri State Highway Department report says Connett-Jerrison failed to yield and made a left turn in front of another driver. The front right or Connett-Jerrison's 2002 GMC Sonoma struck the front of a 2006 Chevrolet Suburban driven by Kristina Weber, 36, of St. Peters. The collision between the two vehicles caused Connett-Jerrison's car to overturn, causing extensive damage. St. Charles County Ambulance took connett-Jerrison to St. Joseph Health Center …

Matthew Altomore escaped injury after being rear-ended by another motorcyclist on Interstate 64.
A St. Peters man was uninjured in a two-car crash on Wednesday, May 27. Matthew Altomore, 20, was driving his 2008 Suzuki GSX-R eastbound on Interstate 64 at the 5.4-mile marker when another driver made contact with the rear of his vehicle. Ian Lebron-Cortez, 26, of O'Fallon, struck the rear of Altomore’s motorcycle, which caused his 2005 Suzuki GSX-R to overturn. Lebron-Cortez and a passenger, Autumn Stapleton, 21, of O’Fallon, were ejected from the vehicle. Lebron-Cortez and Stapleton were taken to Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur by St. Charles County Ambulance. The two sustained what was classified by the Highway Patrol as moderate injuries.
