According to a report on KMOV.com, Christine Marie Brown was charged with two counts of first-degree manslaughter after an April 13 crash killed two elderly people.
A St. Peters woman involved in a fatal car crash last month is now facing additional charges. After initially being charged with possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, Christine Marie Brown, 42, of the first block of Debbie Drive in St. Peters, was given additional charges. St. Peters Police said the woman had a syringe inside her bra and several heroin capsules inside her car.
A woman who caused an accident on Willott Road in St. Peters, killing two elderly people April 13, told police she had injected heroin before the accident. Christine Marie Brown, 42, of the first block of Debbie Drive in St. Peters, was charged Thursday with possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. St. Louis resident Emily Ferguson, 19, was killed after colliding with St. Peters resident Charles Mills.
A St. Peters truck driver was seriously injured in a fatal crash early Friday morning. Charles Mills, 39, was taken to University Hospital in Columbia, Mo., with serious injuries after being in a two-car collision that killed the second driver. Emily Ferguson, 19, of St. Louis, died as a result of the crash. According the Missouri State Highway Patrol, at 3 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 7, Ferguson was heading westbound in the eastbound lane of Interstate 70 just west of the 151.4 mile marker in Callaway County. Ferguson's 2004 Nissan Xterra collided head-on with Mills' 2009 Hino straight truck. Ferguson was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:17 a.m. Ferguson was not wearing a safety device in the crash. One driver has died after a head-on collision in a multi-car crash early Monday in St. Peters.
St. Peters Police have released the name of the man killed in a head-on collision early Monday morning. Jeffrey Conway, 27, of Florissant, was killed when his 2004 Monte Carlo crashed on Salt River Road on Monday. Conway was taken by ambulance to Barnes-Jewish St. Peters where he was pronounced dead. Police also released the names of the other drivers involved in the crash. Carol Motley, of Winfield, was the driver of the Chevy Trailblazer that was first struck in the crash. She sustained minor injuries and was released from the hospital. Gregory Tucker, of O'Fallon, was the driver of a GMC Sonoma in the crash. He was released from the hospital with minor injuries.
