Thomas Kinkade and a 16-year-old girl disappeared together for nine days in January and were found in Monroe County.
A Wright City man connected to a teen who went missing in January was indicted on several charges for having sex with a 16-year-old girl. A St. Charles County grand jury on Friday indicted Benjamin Kinkade, 27, on second-degree statutory rape, second-degree child molestation and first-degree trespassing. St. Peters Police searched for Kinkade after he and a 16-year-old girl disappeared on Jan. 14. The girl told her parents she was working a shift at KFC, but instead met with Kinkade. Kinkade and the girl met while working at KFC in St. Peters. The Monroe County Sheriff's Department found the girl nine days later after Kinkade’s relatives tipped them off. A St. Peters man was indicted by a St. Charles County grand jury Friday on second-degree burglary and felony theft charges. St. Charles County Sheriff’s detectives said the man stole a riding lawn mower, leaf blower and a trimmer April 5 from the St. Peters Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 1800 St. Peters Howell Road. Jeremy Humphries, 28, of the 100 block of Park Charles Boulevard South just south of St. Peters, previously pleaded guilty to two burglaries and thefts after breaking into a maintenance shed at New Life Covenant Church, 300 Siedentop Road, on May 3 and May 16. A man was indicted Friday by a St. Charles County grand jury on three counts of statutory sodomy for having sexual contact with a 5-year-old girl. St. Charles Police said Thomas Louis Watkins, 30, of the 4100 block of Chisholm Trail in St. Charles County near St. Peters, had sexual contact with the girl on three occasions between February 2008 and November 2008. The contact occurred while he was watching a pornographic video in a St. Charles home. He is being held in St. Charles County jail on a $75,000, cash-only bond. A St. Charles County grand jury indicted a man on criminal charges Friday after prosecutors said he asked an informant to arrange sex for him with a 12-year-old virgin. Mohammad Teimoortagh Jr, 23, of the 3200 block of Everwood Run in St. Charles County, was indicted on the following charges: According to court documents, Teimoortagh had a face-to-face meeting with a woman whom he asked to find him a 12-year-old to have sex with him. The woman told him she could find him a 15-year-old virgin. Teimoortagh said that was too old for him, but a 14-year-old would be acceptable, St. Peters Police said. A St. Charles County man was indicted by a St. Charles County grand jury Friday on 11 counts of sex crimes, including forcible rape and child molestation. Jason W. Champion, 22, of the first block of Churchill Downs Drive in unincorporated St. Charles County near St. Peters, faces the following charges: The charges stem from incidents on four dates: June 4, 2011; June 24, 2011; May 21 and June 17. Champion originally was charged with forcible rape and statutory sodomy in St. Peters on May 21. An investigation uncovered more allegations, including some in St. Charles, according to police. Three St. Charles County men each were indicted by a grand jury on Friday on seven first-degree burglary charges and multiple stealing charges. The defendants are: Larbi and Ballinger were indicted by the St. Charles County grand jury on seven first-degree burglary charges; Roberts was indicted on five first-degree burglary charges. Larbi faces 27 stealing charges and Ballinger has 21 stealing charges.
