St. Peters Police said Nathaniel A. Gathing, 35, of Wentzville pointed the gun at another driver and then tried to evade police.
A Wentzville man is accused of pointing a handgun at his girlfriend’s husband while driving on Interstate 70 in St. Peters. Nathaniel A. Gathing, 35, of the 500 block of Great Oaks Meadow in Wentzville, was charged by St. Charles County prosecutors May 2 with unlawful use of a weapon. St. Peters Police said a driver was westbound on I-70 at the Cave Springs exit when a teal Camaro, driven by Gathing, pulled up next to him. A woman faces criminal charges after her friends robbed a person during a marijuana deal Monday. Alayna Evans, 18, of the 1200 block of Poseidon Court in St. Peters, was charged Tuesday with first-degree robbery and conspiracy to distribute marijuana. A St. Charles County Sheriff’s Department investigator said the victim contacted Evans about buying marijuana, and she set up a purchase in the 500 block of Crown Passage Drive in St. Peters. Evans drove three other people to the person’s home and the person got in the vehicle to make the transaction. A St. Peters man hit a woman twice in the face with a shoe Nov. 5 and threatened to beat the woman “up and down the street until she was black and blue,” police said. St. Peters Police said Brandon Beseda, 24, of the 2200 block of Bay Tree Drive in St. Peters, also threatened to kill the woman and took a handgun from her bedroom. A man faces criminal charges for robbing the Check-N-Go in St Peters on May 5. The man also has been charged or is a suspect in several St. Louis County robberies. Darrell Bolden, 37, of the 2100 block of Edmund in South St. Louis County, was charged with two counts each of first-degree robbery and armed criminal action. St. Peters Police said Bolden was wearing a green ski mask and carried a silver revolver when he entered the Check-N-Go at 4122 Mexico Road in St. Peters May 5. Three teenagers were charged Friday with robbing and assaulting another teen who came to sell them marijuana at Golden Gate Parkway and West Meyer Road in Wentzville Wednesday. Charged with two counts of first-degree robbery and two counts of armed criminal action were: Megan Lunte, 17, of O’Fallon, was charged Friday with tampering with evidence in connection with the robbery. Wentzville Police said that the victim called Robles-LaFontaine and asked him if he wanted to buy marijuana. Robles-LaFontaine was with Sutton and Massey, who blamed the victim for getting them arrested in an earlier drug bust because he did not claim his drugs, police said. A St. Charles County man was charged in Sunday’s shooting near Mid Rivers Mall Drive and Mexico Road in St. Peters. A St. Charles County Sheriff’s report said that Gregory D. Crawford, 18, of the first block of Jamestown Drive, shot a firearm at another group of about nine teenagers outside his apartment. The incident took place in Steeplechase neighborhood in unincorporated St. Chalres County surrounded by the city of St. Peters. The handgun was recovered in Crawford's bedroom, according to court documents. Crawford told law officials his intent was to “shoot one or all of them,” according to the report. St. Charles Police said the man was drunk and loading the .22 cal Magnum.
A St. Peters man was charged Monday with unlawful possession of a firearm. St. Charles Police said in a report that Gabriel Kinder, 31, of the 1500 block of Garden Valley in St. Peters, was drunk and was loading a .22 cal Magnum handgun. Six people saw him loading the weapon in the 2400 block of Falcons Way in St. Charles, police said. After police arrived, they discovered that it was illegal for Kinder to possess a firearm. He had been convicted of a second-degree assault in 2002, and was found guilty of illegally possessing a firearm in 2008. Bond was set at $10,000.
