Jungermann Road Resurfacing Project Could Begin Soon

The St. Peters Board of Aldermen will soon vote on a contract to begin the third phase of the Jungermann Road project later this spring.

A portion of Jungermann Road could soon undergo a facelift. The third, and final, phase of the Jungermann Road resurfacing project could being later this spring if the Board of Aldermen approve the contracts at the May 10 meeting. The third phase will take place on a 1.2 mile stretch of road from Old Highway 94 South to Highway 364. Along with getting a new surface, traffic signals will be updates, sidewalks will be added and intersections and crosswalks will be updated to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act. As has been done on other resurfaced roads, most recently a portion of Mexico Road, diamond grinding to provide a smooth surface will take place. The signal upgrade will take place at McClay Road and Country Creek Drive. …
