The crash took place just before 4 p.m. on Interstate 70 in St. Peters.
Three people were injured in a three-car crash Thursday afternoon in St. Peters. According to the crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, two cars were stopped for traffic ahead on westbound Interstate 70 just east of Mid Rivers Mall Drive just before 4 p.m.. A third vehicle, a 2011 Ford F-250 driven by Gary Sexton, 51, of St. Peters, failed to stop and struck the rear of another vehicle, a 2007 Chevrolet F-150 driven by James R. Todd, 27, of O'Fallon. The impact of the crash caused Todd's truck to collide with the first car, a 2001 Mercury Sable driven by Timothy S. Jackson, 22, of St. Charles. Julia Armstrong, 23, jumped out of a moving car and was seriously injured.
A St. Charles woman was seriously injured after she jumped out of a moving car on Tuesday. Julia Armstrong, 23, jumped out of a moving car just before 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday on eastbound Interstate 70 west of Zumbehl Road. The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Armstrong sustained serious injuries from the jump and was taken to SSM St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles. The crash report didn't offer an explanation as to why Armstrong decided to jump out of the moving car. Armstrong was a passenger in a 2007 Hyundai Sonata driven by James Anthony, 53, of St. Peters.

A St. Peters man was uninjured after colliding with another driver on Interstate 70.
A St. Peters man avoided injury despite his car being struck by another car changing lanes. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Jeremy Tillman, 27, of St. Peters, was heading westbound on Interstate 70 just west of Mid Rivers Mall Drive on Friday afternoon. Tillman's 1996 Lincoln Town Car was in lane No. 3. A second car, a 1991 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Gary Ferguson attempted to change lanes and the front Tillman's car struck the rear of Ferguson's. Tillman's car was extensively damaged, but he was unharmed in the crash. Ferguson, however, was take by St. Charles County Ambulance to St. Joseph Health Center in Lake Saint Louis. His injuries were listed as minor. Both drivers were wearing safety devices in the crash.

Tysdal, 20, of St. Peters, was uninjured after being the third car in a three-car crash on Interstate 70 west of Mid Rivers Mall Drive that happened just before 6 a.m. The crash injured one, 33-year-old Florissant resident Alice D. Gleghorn. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Gleghorn was stopped in lane No. 1 because of a previous crash. A second vehicle, driven by Mario A. Reyna Martinez, 30, of St. Charles, pulled over to the left shoulder to help Gleghorn. Tysdal attempted to slow for vehicles one and two, but lost of control of his 1988 Chevrolet Silverado. Stillman, 64, of St. Peters, was transported by Callaway EMS to University Hospital following a two-car crash at 10:45 a.m. The Missouri State Highway Patrol classified his injuries as minor. According to the highway patrol, Stillman was traveling westbound on I-70, just east of Route JJ in Callaway County. Stillman's 2005 Ford Explorer was rear-ended by a second car, a 2013 Nissan Versa driven by Tonaireo D. Warren, 25, of St. Louis. Warren's car struck Stillman's and sent Stillman into the guard rail. A St. Peters woman was injured after striking a parked car on Interstate 70. Kimberly M. Pilliard, 28, of St. Peters, sustained minor injuries after an early Saturday morning crash. According the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Pilliard was heading eastbound on Interstate 70 at Interstate 270 at 3:45 a.m. on Saturday morning. A second vehicle was unoccupied and parked on the side of the road. Pilliard's 2003 GMC Yukon traveled off the right side of the road, struck the unoccupied car, and overturned. A deer on Route 94 caused Mark K. Clayton, 55, to strike a guardrail and sustain serious injuries.
A St. Peters man was seriously injured after crashing his motorcycle on Route 94 on Sunday evening. Mark K. Clayton, 55, of St. Peters, was taken to Mercy Hospital in Creve Couer after being in a one-vehicle crash at 9 p.m. on Sunday. The Missouri State Highway Patrol lists his injuries as serious. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Clayton was heading east on Route 94 when he swerved to avoid a deer in road. Clayton's 2012 Harley Davidson went off the right side of the road and struck a guardrail. The impact of the crash caused Clayton to be ejected from his motorcycle. Clayton's motorcycle sustained extensive damage in the crash. According to the crash report, Clayton was wearing a safety device.

The new station is set to open on April 1.
St. Peters will be home to a new driver examination station beginning on Monday. Missouri State Highway Patrol Captain Ronald S. Johnson, commanding officer, Troop C, Weldon Spring, announced that a new station will open on April 1st just north of the Interstate 70-Highway 79 interchange. The station will be located at 580 North Service Road—a Missouri Highway Patrol zone office. The facility, which will also be a motorcylce test site will open at 8 a.m. and close at 5 p.m.The examination station will also be a motorcycle test site.
