Nicholas P. Custer was seriously injured after his car slid on the ice Monday evening.
A St. Peters man was seriously injured after losing control of his car on the icy road late Monday. Nicholas P. Custer, 23, of St. Peters, was heading eastbound on Missouri Route 94 at Highway 364 just before 10 p.m. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Custer lost control of his 2003 Chevrolet Silverado on the ice-covered road. He traveled over the cement bridge wall and went airborne, eventually landing in the westbound lanes of 364. Custer, who wasn't wearing a safety device, was transported to Mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur. The Highway Patrol lists his condition as serious.

A St. Peters man was taken to Barnes-Jewish with minor injuries following a crash on Sunday.
A St. Peters man was injured following a three-car crash Sunday afternoon on Route 364. Gary J. Boicourt, 30, was taken to Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital by St. Charles County Ambulance with what the Missouri State Highway Patrol called minor injuries. Boicourt was the only driver in the crash to be injured. According to the Highway Patrol, Linda Linck, 63, of St. Charles, was heading westbound on MO-364 in lane four just after 4 p.m. on Sunday. Boicourt was in lane five and a third vehicle was in lane three. The third vehicle travelled into Linck's lane and struck Linck's 2007 Chevrolet Impala. Linck spun out of control and travelled into lane five where the car struck the front of Boicourt's 2010 Nissan Versa. Linck then slid off …

Lori Bindner, 23, lost control of her motorcycle Sunday afternoon.
A St. Peters woman sustained moderate injuries after crashing her motorcycle Sunday afternoon. Lori Bindner, 23, was traveling southbound on off road trail 100 in St. Joseph State Park at 3 p.m. on Sunday. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Bindner's 2000 Kawasaki Motorcycle struck a loose rock and overturned. Bindner was thrown from the motorcycle and injured. She was taken to Parkland Hospital in Farmington with was the Highway Patrol classified as moderate injuries. The motorcycle was not damaged in the crash.

A St. Peters woman was uninjured after being involved in a two-vehicle crash early Wednesday morning.
A St. Peters woman was unharmed after being involved in a two-vehicle crash early Wednesday morning. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, St. Peters resident Kelly A. Matteson, 40, was heading westbound on Highway 94 east of O'Fallon road just after 8 a.m. Traffic began to slow down and a second driver, Babette S. Grondine, 56, of O'Fallon, failed to observe the slowing traffic. The front of Grondine's 2000 Mazda Protege struck the rear of Matteson's 2006 IC Corporation Bus. Grondine's vehicle was totaled in the crash and she was taken to St. Joseph's Health Center with minor injuries. Matteson was uninjured in the crash and her vehicle was able to be driven from the scene. Both drivers were wearing safety devices.

The motorcyclist hit an object in the roadway and overturned.
A motorcyclist was injured following a crash on Interstate 70 in St. Peters on Saturday afternoon. At 2:30 p.m. Anthony C Mooney, 56, of Winfield Mo., crashed his 2009 Harley Davidson Sportster. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash took place on eastbound Interstate 70 just west of Mid Rivers Mall Drive after Mooney struck an object in the roadway. After striking the object, Mooney's motorcycle overturned. There were no other vehicles involved in the crash. Mooney was taken by St. Charles County ambulance to St. Joseph Health Center with minor injuires. The motorcycle was extensively damaged in the crash.

Robert Staufenbiel was in his semi-truck on I-70 when a utility truck, salting the highway, failed to notice the stopped semi and hit the towed unit of the truck. Staufenbiel was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
A 51-year-old St. Peters man was seriously injured in a car accident along Interstate 70 Monday morning. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol website, Robert Staufenbiel in his 2002 International 4900 semi-truck on I-70, near the Bryan Road exit, when a utility truck salting the highway failed to notice the stopped semi and hit the towed unit of the semi. Staufenbiel was taken to St. Joseph East Hospital by St. Charles County ambulance. Both vehicles sustained extensive damage.

A St. Peters woman sustained minor injuries in an early-morning crash in Morgan County. Stephanie Russell, 20, was injured in a crash just before 9:30 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 21, on US 50 just west of Route A. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Russell's vehicle crossed the center line and struck a second vehicle head on. The driver of the second vehicle, 22-year-old Peculiar, Mo., resident Jaron Fowler sustained serious injuries in the crash. He was transported to Staff for Life University Hospital. His 1998 GMC Jimmy was totaled in the collision. Russell's 2004 Mazda 3 was also totaled. She was also transported to Staff for Life University Hospital. Fowler and Russell were both wearing safety devices in the crash.

A St. Peters woman avoided injury after a three-car crash Monday evening. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, three vehicles were on eastbound Highway 94 just west of Wolfrum Road in lane two at 5:20 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 17. Two of the vehicles, a 1998 Honda Civic driven by 16-year-old St. Charles resident Jessica Grimes and a 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt driven by 45-year-old St. Charles resident Alisha Rottger were stopped at a red light. A truck driver from St. Peters was unharmed after colliding with another car on Highway 61 Tuesday evening. Robert Goetz, 46, was heading westbound on US-61 just after 4:30 p.m. on Dec. 11, in his 2007 Freightliner M2 when he made contact with another vehicle. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Sandra K. McGuire, 43, of Foristell, was traveling south on US-61. Goetz was attempting to cross US-61 and the front of McGuire's 2011 Mazda CX7 struck the right side of Goetz's truck. Both drivers were wearing safety devices in the crash.
