Olshwanger Joins St. Peters Police Department
Newest officer was the only one chosen out of 80 applicants.
The St. Peters Police Department grew by one at the Dec. 17 Board of Alderman Meeting. During the opening ceremonies St. Peters Police Chief Tom Bishop swore in Officer Daniel S. Olshwanger as the newest member of the department. Olshwanger took the oath before the Board and his family. Olshwanger is a graduate of Francis Howell North High School and attended the St. Charles Community College with an emphasis on criminal justice. Olshwanger comes to the department after completing his training and finishing second in his class at the Eastern Missouri Police Training Academy in November of this year.
