The top-10 most-read stories were tilted in favor of crime and traffic crashes.

October is gone and we're in the home strech of 2012.  November, the month with Thanksgiving and maybe snow, is here. But before we get to that, let's look at the last month.  Once again we look at the numbers to see just what  St. Peters Patch readers were checking in on during the month. In October, it was a lot of crime, but not all stories involved police news.  In order of user views, here are the top-10 stories on St. Peters Patch during October.  What do you think about the list? 1. Lawsuit Claims Baby Was Decapitated During Delivery at Mercy Sometimes, the news can be tragic. That was certainly the case in this report from Creve Coeur Patch.  According to a 10-count complaint filed in St. Louis County Circuit Court, a local couple claimed that doctors involved with the delivery of their baby coerced them into a vaginal delivery against their wishes and then hid the fact that their baby had been decapitated during the delivery process.
