Each week, we nominate a new restaurant for you to review. That's right, you're the local expert. This week we look at Pretzel Stop
When it comes to restaurants, St. Peters has plenty. The business has drive through open at new location, hopes to open inside of restaurant soon.
Pretzel Stop has moved from Ford Lane in St. Charles to 1650 Jungermann Road in St. Peters as of mid-February. The new location is serving up pretzels and dips to customers in the drive through but hasn't yet opened up the dining room. The new space, which was formerly a Long John Silvers and A&W Rootbeer restaurant, is three times the size of their former location. Manager Jessica Iasello said the new location would give them the ability to expand their product line as well. A sign posted on the drive through says the dining room is unopened because they need to hire more staff. An employee also added that they are awaiting delivery of some equipment. Temporary hours are from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

At 785 square feet, their current shop at 1721 Ford Lane is a tight fit. The shop will move to a new location at 1650 Jungermann Road—formerly a Long John Silvers and A & W Rootbeer restaurant—sometime at the end of December or early January. "Where we're at is just a drive through," Jessica Iasello said. "We're going to have a little bit of an eat-in at the new location." In addition, they plan to start doing more bulk orders. Creating custom shapes …
