Man Choked Roommate After Being Asked to Move Out, Deputy Says

The man also punched his roommate several times after being asked to move out, according to a St. Charles County Sheriff's report.

A St. Charles County man assaulted his roommate after being asked to move out, according to a St. Charles County Sheriff’s report. Richard Menke, 51, of the 1400 block of Park Ashwood Court in the Harvester area, was charged Feb. 6 with third-degree domestic assault. A St. Charles County Sheriff's deputy reported that Menke became angry when his roommate asked him to move out. The deputy said Menke choked his roommate with his forearm and punched him several times in the face. Menke was being held in St. Charles County jail Monday. Bail was set at $15,000 cash only, and Menke is to have no contact with his former roommate. Assault Breaks Eye Socket Bone, Gives Victim Concussion

A St. Peters man assaulted another man Aug. 8 in the 16800 block of Paradise Peak Circle in Wildwood, St. Louis County Police said.

A St. Peters man assaulted another man in Wildwood by punching him numerous times, breaking an orbital bone in his eye socket and giving him a concussion, police said. Kevin Griffin, 19, of the 3900 block of Golden Hills Drive in St. Peters, was charged Monday in St. Louis County Circuit Court with first-degree assault. St. Louis County Police said Griffin assaulted the man in the 16800 block of Paradise Peak Circle in Wildwood on Aug. 8. Bail was set at $75,000 for Griffin. Man Tackled, Choked, Punched Girlfriend, Police Say

The woman hit her head, putting a football-sized hole in the drywall, according to a deputy's report.

A St. Charles County man faces criminal charges after police said he tackled his girlfriend, causing her to hit her head and put a football-sized hole in the living room wall. A sheriff’s deputy report also said he strangled and punched the woman. David Flaiz, 32, of the first block of Milky Way Drive in St. Charles County south of St. Peters, was charged with second-degree domestic assault. A St. Charles County Sheriff's deputy reported that Flaiz’ girlfriend looked at his cell phone and found a phone number of a woman whom she didn’t know.
